This is the brass mentioned by Revd Daubeny as being near the chancel arch, though it could also be said to be by the entrance to the pulpit. It measures 14¼ by 2¼ inches, and his notes represent it as: —

This he translates as "Pray for the souls of William Bacar and Margaret his wife: on whose souls God have mercy. Amen."
