The Communion Plate includes a silver gilt chalice, 8¼ inches In height, with a cover. It bears the arms of the Barkham family, and is inscribed "Ex dono Sr Wm Barkham Baronet Anno Dom: 1681"

On the base are the words "The Towne of East Walton in Norfolk". Can we assume means East Walton was a somewhat more important settlement at one time?
