The sun rises above the gap between Jubilee and Broom Belts on 3 November 2004. Jubilee Belt is set an right angles to Broom Belt and is just off the eastern edge of the map on the Home Page

This picture was taken from a gap in the belt (not marked on the map) from which the deer emerged in the picture with the elderly English Setter. This un-named belt was probably one of those planted experimentally in the 1930s to provide cover for game. They are mainly conifer, but there are deciduous species too, including Oak, as can be seen here.
