A stranger might not expect to see an Osprey overhead in East Walton. Certainly, they are not common. However, there are a number of old gravel workings straddling the River Nar, east of Kings Lynn. These are now stocked for fishing. Then at Narborough and within the parish there are fish farms, so it is not as if there is not easy hunting for them.
