Perhaps the best place to see deer around the village is in Bradmoor Plantation. Often "planation" means "planted for timber" but in these parts it means "planted to provide cover for gamebirds". That doesn't stop deer taking advantage of the cover provided, as this magnificent female Red Deer demonstrates.
