I wonder if anyone has memories of, or knows about Thomas Oakley and Rosina Greenacre. They are my Paternal Grandparents and were married in East Walton by the Rev. Daubney in 1921.
On their marriage certificate it says that Thomas was a Team-man (Horses). I wonder if anyone knows where they lived in the village and who Thomas worked for. Their second son, (my Father) was born in Castleacre (which I know is fairly close) in 1924.
It would be interesting to find out more about their time in East Walton as I know that eventually my Grandmother lived in the Almshouses at Holkham Hall in Norfolk.
